As you all probably know by now, mom and I are swamped with projects. We like them all which makes it especially difficult to choose which one to finish first! Take a look at Linda's 5 projects and vote to let her know which one you would like to see in store first!
This is the Hippy Hippy Shawl out of Elise, a great self striping cotton and acrylic blend, and Cleo a fun mercerized cotton that comes in a bunch of great colors!
This is a great drapey vest out of Captiva which is a blend of cotton, polyester and acrylic. The pattern is called Seabrook and is a perfect addition to your warm weather wardrobe!
This beautiful shawl is knit out of the delicious silk and merino blend by Manos called Fino. The Pluma Shawl was written with Fino in mind so it's sure to be a wonderful finished object.
The Rumpus Shawl Recipe is a really cool shawl pattern that allows you to customize just about every aspect of your project. Linda is using an assortment of fingering weight yarn but you can use any weight you want! What a great way to sample new yarns!
Here is another great way to try out new yarns and create a truly unique finished product. While the pattern is written for a mitered square blanket you can make anything you want weather it's a pillow, scarf/shawl etc. Be sure to check out the Sock Yarn Patchwork Recipe. Linda is doing one from Bulky weight and the other from fingering.
