Our Story

5 years ago Linda fulfilled one of her life's goals when she bought Stitches With Style! A few years later her daughter Aly escaped the world of corporate retail and now they run the yarn store together. Their goal is to create a warm, welcoming shop where people feel free to sit, knit and enjoy each other's company. Please come join us sometime!

Our Policies

  1. Once yarn has been wound from a hank, it can NOT be returned
  2. Needles, books, swifts, winders, sale yarn and patterns can NOT be returned
  3. Store credit & gift certificates expire one year from the date issued.
  4. Returned yarn is always weighed.
  5. Yarn returns may be made for a period of 3 months after original purchase only with receipt and only for store credit. If yarn has been permanently marked down by Stitches With Style, credit will be given at marked down price.
  6. If yarn is not purchased from Stitches With Style for a class, the cost for the class will be doubled. 
  7. You must RSVP and pay for all classes at least 3 business days in advance.
  8. Any class cancelled by Stitches With Style will result in a store credit for anyone who was signed up
  9. Stitches With Style will no longer be accepting checks
  10. In an effort to go green and help the environment, we no longer have ANY bags in the store. Thank you all so much for helping us achieve our goal! 
  11. Due to an overwhelming amount of winding we will now be winding two skeins per customer per day 

What's the deal with Special Orders?

1. All Special Orders must be paid for in advance

2. Special Orders are never eligible for returns or exchanges

3. If you would like to special order a yarn or color that we don't typically stock you are responsible for buying entire bags (Bags of yarn typically consist of 10 skeins of yarn)

4. Please remember that shipping costs force us to group our orders so we can't always order products the same day it is requested

We don't mind if you come in with food and drinks, but we do ask that you keep them at the main table! 

There's a great play area to keep your little one's amused while you shop! It is very important that small children remain with their parent(s), at the toy area or seated at the main table. This is  to ensure the safety of all of our customers and we appreciate your understanding and help with this matter!
