We have a great way to help you get the gifts you want this year! Just stop in and fill out a wishlist with at least 5 items that you want from the store. Then send in your significant other, family member or friends to check out and purchase what you want! Be sure to let them know that when they shop your wishlist they will receive a discount as follows:
If they buy 1-3 items off the list they receive 10% off those purchases
When they're feeling generous and buy 4-5 items off the list the discount is raised to 20% off
FInally, if they really want to blow your socks off and buy a gift card in addition to at least one item off your wishlist they will receive a coupon to give you good for one helping of 10 skeins for $25 from our sale department. The coupon will be redeemable between Tuesday, January 10 and Saturday, January 14!

Happy Tofurkey Day Eve Everyone!
Only a few more blocks of garter stitch to go and then I can pick up for the edge ruffle! I'm loving this project but I must say, I won't be sad to be done with garter stitch for a little bit! However using luxurious yarn has helped me stay motivated!
At first I wasn't so sure about the way they had you change colors, (as you may have noticed you change on both right and wrong side rows) but now I'm really enjoying how it makes it so there really is no wrong side to this project, something that I think will be very handy with a scarf! So far I'm still loving this project!
The Macaibo Shawl I posted a few days ago is almost done! I'm on the last row of triangles and then I can bind off! Look for it in the shop soon! Posting my projects really helps keep me going on shop models! Thanks for reading!
Hello all! As I'm sure you all know, the holidays are quickly approaching and chances are there are a few people in your life who are scratching their heads wondering what to get for you! Well, here's one way to help them out:
Starting Thursday, November 25 (Black Friday) come in and fill out an index card with at least 5 things that you want from the store. If someone comes in and asks for your index card they will receive discounts on the items you want most from your LYS! The more they buy the more they save! Don't forget to tell your "shoppers" that every Thursday in December we will be open until 7:30 pm!

I know I said that my favorite project was the MountainTop Scarf/Shawl but any of you who know me know that I am very easily distracted and thus have started another "favorite" project! Here's where I am so far:
It's called Ruth's Entrelac Butterfly Shawl and is a paid download from Ravelry. I love the pattern and most of all I love the yarn I am using which is Macaibo. It's a dk weight ribbon-esque yarn that not only changes colors, but also changes textures! What a treat for your fingers and eyes! As promised here is some information about the Black Friday Sale at SWS! We will be open for normal business hours (10-6) and will be having hourly specials on everything from bags to needles! In order to qualify for the hourly specials you must have your purchases recorded before the hour is up! Sorry to be so vague but in true SWS form we haven't quite figured out all the details yet! Yesterday we got a great shipment from Skacel Yarns. We got four new yarns and four new colors in an existing yarn. Starting with the newbies from Left to Right we have: Kimono, a dk weight blend of wool and silk that is also a superwash! Wunderklecks, a sock yarn that is especially cool because the yarn was actually knit up, ty-dyed and then skeined, making each pair unique! Royal which is another sock yarn made up of a luxurious blend of Merino, Poly, Silk and Cashmere! Finally we have Zauberwolle, a 100% merino with lots of yardage and even more colors per skein!
The other four lovelies you see in the photo are the four newest colors of Pur, a bulky weight merino that is machine washable. What more can you ask for in a soft, colorful quick kit yarn?
